Mississippi Women: You have what it takes to lead in public life and engage in policy-making based on your lived experiences! Workshop participants will have the chance to build a community of support and access the critical encouragement and information that may help them to take those first steps towards a future run. Participants may leave with increased confidence, clarity on their personal brand and leadership qualifications, and a changed mindset about entering politics.
- She Should Run is a national nonpartisan nonprofit based in Washington, D.C. working to dramatically increase the number of women considering a run for public office. She Should Run uses data-driven content, education, and collective action to identify and tackle barriers women and marginalized genders face on the path to elected leadership in order to motivate folks to explore the possibility of public office.
MWL is a collaboration of The Women’s Foundation of Mississippi’s Women’s Policy Institute, the Mississippi Black Women’s Roundtable’s Black Women’s Leadership Institute, and One Voice of Mississippi’s Mississippi Black Leadership Institute

You will learn about the civic engagement options available to, network with like-minded individuals, and create a plan for connecting with others in their network.
